New Vicar Arrives
On Tuesday 12th June we enjoyed a joyful service welcoming Rev. Alex Stevens and her husband Michael to Ruxley. We are delighted to welcome them to our church family here and it was good to see so many folk there to support them. The Leadership Team would like to issue an enormous thank you to everybody who helped, especially the Kitchen and AV Teams who worked so hard on the night.
[From left to right: Venerable Martin Breadmore (Archdeacon); Rev. Emma Cusack (Methodist Minister); Rev. Alex Stevens (Anglican Vicar); Right Reverend Paul Davies (Bishop of Dorking); Canon Rosemary Donovan (Area Dean); Mrs Paulette Withycombe (Churchwarden)]
If you missed the service, or would like to enjoy it again: view it on YouTube
Please continue to pray for Alex and Michael as they settle into their new life at Ruxley.
About us
Ruxley Church is an Anglican-Methodist ecumenical partnership, and as we worship God together we continually discover that life in him through our Lord Jesus Christ brings peace, hope and a sense of purpose in all we do.
All are welcome at Ruxley Church whether you’re just ‘browsing’, have ended up here by accident or have recently moved into the area. We don’t mind whether you’re more holy than the Saints or are uncertain about the Christian Faith. You are free to join in where and when you want. We are just so pleased that you are here!
However, if you have questions about faith, or are finding life a struggle and would like to talk with someone, please don’t be afraid to contact one of our Ministry Team. We don’t claim to have all the answers, but we’re very willing to listen and help you explore further.
Ruxley Launch Eco Church

Caring for all of creation is part of our adopting a right relationship with God, and we have launched Eco Church!
This initiative of the Christian charity A Rocha is helping churches look at their worship and teaching, their buildings and energy use, as well as their community engagement to ensure that Christians are intentionally taking care of God's creation in all they do.
As a first step towards making our building energy efficient and working towards Net Zero, we are changing the old-style light bulbs to LED ones. We are applying for a grant which will cover most of the cost, but we need your help to cover the rest by ‘Sponsoring a Light Bulb’. A special form is available for this purpose.
